Exam Pattern Details:

The exam pattern for the written test is as follows:- 9741143123

  • The exam will be of objective type.
  • The questions will be in the form of MCQs.
  • The total questions in Paper I and II will be 100-100.
  • Marks for this exam Paper I & II will be 100-100 marks.
  • The time duration for Paper-I will be one and a half hour and the duration of Paper-II will be of 1 hour.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Verbs, Tense, Modal, Active and Passive Voice, Subject-Verb Symmetry, Non-finite Verb Forms (Infinitives and Participles), Sentence Structure, Connectors, Types of Sentences, Types of Phrases and Clauses, Direct and Indirect Speech, Determiners, Pronouns Articles, prepositions, comprehension of a given passage.

General Knowledge: (40 ouestions-40 marks)

General Science, History and Geography of India with special reference to Odisha, Indian Polity and Governance, Ecology and Environment, Indian Economy and Budget, Banking Awareness, Indian Society, Indian Art and Culture, Current Events with National and International Importance, National and International Awards, Sports Achievements, Inventions and Discoveries, Books and Authors, Days and Dates, International Organization with Membership and Headquarters, Current Affairs with special reference to Odisha.

Computer Awareness: (20 Questions-20 Marks)

Computer Fundamentals, Basics of Operating System and its Functions, Hardware and Software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access), Basics of Database Management System and Computer Languages, Networking, Internet and E-mail, Computer Abbreviations, Basics of Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks, Basics of Search Engines and Social Media, Basics of Cyber ​​Security and Data Encryption.

Candidate 1.5 times The merit category wise on the basis of marks obtained in written examination (CBRE) will be shortlisted for certificate verification from amongst the advertised vacancies. There will be no viva voce test. The candidate who is absent at this stage (Certificate Verification), his/her name will be removed from the Common Merit List and he/she should be considered while preparing the selection list.
