What is Agneepath Yojana / Agneepath Scheme?

Bhartiya Agneepath Scheme is the recruitment of personnel below the rank of officer in the Indian Army. Defense Minister has launched Agneepath scheme for both men and women (progressively based on service requirements). The first rally of Agneepath scheme will be organized in 90 days.

Agneepath Scheme Indian rank is calculated from the rank of officers in the Indian Army. Protection starts from female gynecology for gynecology (on the basis of successive service). Process of occurrence of occurrence of event 90.

Age Limit for Agneepath Scheme:

Business Educational Qualifications
Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms) Class 10th / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards adhering to the grading system of D grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or equivalent grade in which C2 grade is equivalent to 33% in aggregate and 45% in aggregate.
Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms)

Agniveer (Technical) (Aviation and Ammunition Examiner)

10+2 / Intermediate Examination in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with minimum 50% marks and 40% in each subject.

10+2 / Intermediate examination pass from any recognized State Education Board or Central Board of Education with NSQF level 4 or above to include NIOS and ITI course of minimum one year in the required field.
Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical) (All Arms) 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Passed in Any Stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% Marks in Aggregate and Minimum 50% in Each Subject. It is mandatory to obtain 50% marks in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in class XII.
Agniveer Tradesman (All Arms) 10th Pass (i) Class 10th Ordinary Pass.
(ii) There is no condition in aggregate percentage but must have 33% marks in each subject.
Agniveer Tradesman (All Arms) 8th pass (i) Class 8th Ordinary Pass.
(ii) There is no condition in aggregate percentage but must have 33% marks in each subject.
  • Arrangements will be made to give 12th class certificate to firefighters.
  • Raising Technical Limit – Recruitment through ITI.
  • Medical and physical fitness standards as per the existing norms.

Salary and Allowances of Agneepath Scheme:

The persons enrolled under this scheme will be paid Agniveer Package of Rs. 30,000/- per month with a fixed annual increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress and traveling allowance will be paid.

  • Annual Salary Package – 4.76 Lakh in 1st year to 6.92 Lakh in 4th year.
  • On completion of 4 years of service – approx 11.7 lakhs including contribution and interest.
  • 30% of the monthly emoluments will be contributed by Agniveers and an equal matching amount will be contributed by the Govt.
