Hindustan Petroleum Officer Posts Computer Based Test

Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern will be as follows:

  • CBT will be objective type.
  • The CBT will have two parts.
    1. General Aptitude consisting of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude Test and Intellectual Ability Test (Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation).
    2. Technical/professional knowledge including questions relating to the qualifying degree/educational background required for the position of the application.
  • The time duration of CBT will be announced later.
  • The maximum marks and number of questions will be announced later.
  • There will be no negative marking.

Group Work & Personal Interview of Hindustan Petroleum Officer Posts

  • Candidates who qualify in the Computer Based Test in the order of merit and pre-determined ratio will be advised to upload supporting documents for certain posts.
  • In Computer Based Test based on verification of application, uploaded documents (if applicable) and Category-wise and Discipline wise merit list, eligible candidates will be called for Group Work and Personal Interview.
  • Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in each stage i.e. Computer Based Test, Group Task and Personal Interview to be considered for further selection process.
  • A category and discipline-wise merit list will be prepared for all the candidates who will qualify in all the stages. Computer Based Test + Group Task + Moot Court (Only for Law Officers) + Personal Interview + Work Experience (Only for QC / Blending / Law / Experienced Electrical) and offer of appointment will be as per the available category and discipline-wise vacancies.
