CTET Application Fee
The candidates who wish to appear for CTET 2022 have to pay the application fee online along with the application form. The application fee for General, OBC candidates is Rs. 1000/- for one paper, and Rs. 1200/- for both the papers. For other categories (SC, ST, PWD, etc) candidates the application fee is Rs. 500/- for one paper and Rs. 600/- for both the papers.

The CTET exam is conducted at two levels. CTET level-I is for teacher candidates of classes 1 to 5, and CTET level-II is for teacher candidates of classes 6 to 8. The CTET eligibility for both the levels is given below:
CTET Eligibility for Level-I (Class 1-5)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). either
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations to be, 2002. either
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). either
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
- One who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher for classes I to V, provided the person appointed as a teacher must necessarily be recognized by NCTE. A six-month bridge course will be required in the elementary education received. , within two years of such appointment as primary teacher”.
CTET Eligibility for Level-II (Class 6-8)
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). either
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). either
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. either
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A./ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. either
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (special education)*. OR Any candidate who has completed B.Ed. program recognized by NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Further, as per the extant TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing teacher education course (recognized by NCTE or RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE notification. Qualified to appear in TET/CTET as on 23rd August 2010 also.
