Nowadays the level of competition has become very high so competitive exams become very difficult. Aspirants facing the serious problem of “what to prepare” and “how to prepare” to give their best in their exam. So, here we are providing the latest syllabus and exam pattern.

Selection Process :

  • Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (ASI) and Assistant Radio Mechanic (ASI)
    • Phase I – Written Exam
    • Phase II – Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Examination
  • Constable (Store Man)
    • Phase I – Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
    • Phase II – Written Exam
    • Phase III – Documentation, and Medical Examination

Physical Standard Test (PST):

For the post of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector) and Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector),

measurement Male female
height 165 cm. (5 cms relaxation for hill tribes and tribals). Height should not be less than 150 cm.
sew 76-80 cm. (Relaxation of 2 cm for candidates below 20 years of age) There will be no need for chest measurement.

For the post of Constable (Storeman)

sew 80 cm. (Unexpanded) 85 cms. (extended guideline) There will be no minimum chest measurement requirement.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Candidates found fit in Physical Standard Test (PST) will be put through Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which will be of qualifying nature. The post wise PET criteria are as follows:-

Documentation:

Documentation will be done by the Board of Officers at the center on the date and time fixed by the Competent Authority which will be intimated to the candidates through e-mail address / SMS for online call letter. During the documentation, the original documents of the candidates with respect to age, educational qualification, caste certificate and experience certificate etc. will be thoroughly scrutinized by the selection board. If a candidate does not produce the original documents he/she will be disqualified.

medical examination :

Candidates who qualify all the above stages i.e. Written Test, Documentation, PST and PET will undergo a Detailed Medical Examination, which will be conducted by a Medical Board to assess their fitness. If a candidate is found unfit for medical examination, he/she can appeal for review medical examination within the prescribed time limit of 15 days from the date of issue of the memorandum. The provisions of appeal of review medical examination are only an “against”error of judgment“On behalf of the Preliminary Medical Board. On acceptance of the appeal, the Review Medical Examination shall be conducted and the decision of the Review Medical Board shall be final. No appeal/ representation shall be entertained against the decision of the Review Medical Board.’ Appeals from candidates declared ineligible in the medical examination shall be received at FHQ (Directorate of Personnel-Director Section) and the formats of the letter/certificate are enclosed as Annexure-‘F’, F-1 and F-2. Documents received After scrutiny, call letters will be issued to the eligible to appear in RME at the venue as per the due date and time.
