Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test popularly known as TET is an Indian entrance exam for teachers. The exam is mandatory for getting a teaching job in government schools from class 9 to class 12. Paper 1 is for class 9 to class 10 teachers and paper 2 for class 11 to class 12. It is organized by both the central government and the state. Governments in India. Most of the states conduct their own TET. This test is conducted in order to fulfill and achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act.

Bihar TET Age Range ,

Note: Maximum 10 years age relaxation is given to those candidates who are willing to apply for all subject eligibility test except computer science subject. Candidates will be given age relaxation of 08 years only for Computer Science subject.

• up to 01.08.2022 For the qualifying examination 2022 of all subjects.
• up to 01.01.2022 Only for Physical Education and Health Instructor Eligibility Test 2022.

Bihar TET IEligibility Criteria,

For Paper – I

Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in prescribed subject and B.Ed with minimum 50% marks. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Most Backward/Divyang should have Bachelor’s degree in prescribed subject with 45% marks.

For Paper – II

Candidates should have Post Graduate Degree in prescribed subject and B.Ed with minimum 50% marks. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Most Backward/Divyang should have Bachelor’s degree in prescribed subject with 45% marks. Candidates having Computer Science as one of the subject need not have B.Ed degree.

Validity of Bihar STET Certificate:

Bihar TET 2022 Certificate Validity will be of 07 years. Candidates can appear in the upcoming class 09-12 teacher recruitment till 07 years from the date of issue of certificate.
